Onboarding & Strategy (Week 1)
Eilish overcame serious illness in her early twenties to become a leading NZ wedding photographer. Her infectiously positive attitude is one of the many inspiring qualities that make her who she is.
Goal: Write words that stay true to her character while also being ‘searchable’ and persuasive for new visitors. Carefully plan the website user journey & keyword strategy to accommodate these aims.
My style is quite niched and I want to portray that as much as possible, to show the uniqueness of my service. I really would love to see what we can do together so my homepage copy is different from the rest.
Brand Voice Process (Week 2)
We discuss her brand and business goals, define her ideal client persona and use this research to create a focused, intent-led keyword strategy. We trial a few writers to capture her perfect brand voice.
Goal: Lightly edit her ‘My Journey’ & ‘About’ pages and create fresh SEO-charged copy for her other pages in order to attract a wider audience.
I want my homepage copy to be unique and really resemble what my brand is all about … which is encapsulating that old school type of love through your love stories and my camera.
Copywriting & Editing (Week 3)
We swing for the rafters with her primary keywords, e.g. ‘Bay of Plenty wedding photographer’ & ‘Wedding film photography New Zealand’, as we’re confident that her brand & portfolio can support these goals.
Goal: Optimise her pages for niche keywords around her photography style, e.g. ‘Vintage wedding photography in New Zealand’ & ‘Nostalgic family photography in New Zealand’, to filter for her ideal audience.

SEO Audit & Health Check (Week 4)
We upload all of the copy, implement the SEO, run a full site health check and deliver a comprehensive handover.
